Phone Contact Numbers are now back to Normal
All Saints Church wishes to Apologise to everyone for the long time that BT took to resolve contact problems and advise that the contact numbers are now back to normal.
These problems had been caused by BT errors and BT seemed unable to resolve the number changes they have caused to happen at All Saints Church. As of 10/10/16 these have now been rectified.
The current situation is (updated 10/10/16):-
Parish Office Number:-
BT has managed to re-instate the number to 01628 621933:-
FOR CONTACTING THE PARISH OFFICE PLEASE NOW USE:- 01628 621933 (as normal)
The Parish Office number of 01628 621 933 was temporarily unavailable – BT unilaterally disconnected the office number on August 15th - having promised to restore this number by August 26th BT has been through a saga of errors (described in the attached file for those interested). BT has not followed through promises made and is still “working on it”.
BT have advised that they are "hopeful" of resolving this issue next week (commencing 26th Sept.) - BT have managed to resolve this on 10th Oct 2016.
All Saints Vicarage Number:-
BT had, for no reason, changed this number to 01628 625 977 from the Vicarage number of 01628 626 921.
BT resolved this issued on 23rd Sept and the number has now been returned to the original Vicarage number, hence:-
FOR CONTACTING THE VICARAGE PLEASE USE:- 01628 626 921 (as normal)
There has been a catalogue of errors and unfulfilled promised from BT and the HISTORY in the attached file – for those interested, is a factual record of events (up to 22nd Sept):-
AT ALL TIMES BT HAVE BEEN MADE AWARE THAT THIS IS A CHURCH OFFICE AND THE ISSUES ARE CAUSING MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH CONTACTS FROM PARISHIONERS AND ESPECIALLY FOR FUNERALS, BAPTISMS AND WEDDINGS. THE SEQUENCE OF EVENTS DETAILED IN THE ATTACHED FILE IS THE BEST RESPONSE BT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO MAKE TO THIS.
