Silver Jubilee Saturday 29th June 12 noon
I would like to thank every one from the All Saints church community, and those friends who traveled to join me, who made my Silver Jubilee service on Saturday such a wonderful day for me. It was great to see so many people there from the church family and from the wider community. Thank you to everyone who planned, contributed and helped serve the hospitality and all those who stayed following the service to enjoy sharing the day. Thanks too for the wonderful service contributions including those who planned and played the music, sang, those who read and led intercessions, and those who prepared the booklets for us. Thanks too for the serving team and for all the work that went on getting the church ready for the liturgy. Thanks for the bell ringers, flower arrangers and for the magnificent cakes. Many others made time to share clearing up the dishes, tables and did washing up. Thanks to for the wonderful food which was a genuine bring and share that worked wonderfully well. Thank you everyone for the gifts given to me from members of the church community and the wider community. I particularly enjoyed the timer for my sermons! There were many cards with lovely messages and again I really appreciate your prayers, thoughts and kind words.
I could not think of a more fitting celebration to mark this special day in my life.
