QUIET DAY AT HOLY TRINITY CHURCH, PRESTWOOD, near HIGH WYCOMBE,ON SATURDAY 27 SEPTEMBER
We are holding a Quiet Day for the parish at Prestwood, about a 30 minute drive from All Saints.
The day will consist of talks interspersed with periods of quiet reflection, when you will be able to sit or walk around the grounds as you wish, and the day will include a eucharist service.
Coffee or tea and biscuits will be available throughout the day and you are invited to bring a packed lunch with you.
Holy Trinity is a beautiful church which some of us have already visited and its grounds are extensive, including a prayer labyrinth. The sessions will be held in the church itself but the grounds can be used for individual reflection.
Seating is flexible and a modern kitchen is available within the church. It has its own large car park.
The programme will be:-
9.30 to 10 Coffee and biscuits
10 to 10.30 Introduction and orientation
10.30 to 12 Talk followed by collective and individual reflection
12 to 12.30 Eucharist
12.30 to 1.30 self-catering lunch
1.30 to 2.30 Talk followed by collective and individual reflection
2.30 to 3.30 Talk followed by collective and individual reflection
3.30 to 4 reflecting on the day together
